STARCOR CU Scholarship Application Window:
STARCOR CU Scholarship Applications are accepted from August 15th to October 15th. The application for scholarships is open to all STARCOR CU members. Any STARCOR CU member interested in applying for a scholarship should click on the printable application above or request an application from the STARCOR CU office.

What is the Scholarship Program?
Each year STARCOR CU may award up to three (3) scholarships of $500 each to STARCOR CU members. The Scholarship applies toward the attainment of an undergraduate degree or certificate from an accredited institution.

Who is Eligible?
Eligible applicants must be STARCOR CU members in good standing as of the date of application, who are working toward the attainment of either an undergraduate degree or a certificate-training program. The applicant may not be a previous STARCOR CU scholarship award recipient.

How to Apply!
Request an official application from the STARCOR CU office or click on the Printable Application above. Submit the application to the credit union office on the official form between August 15th and October 15th of each year.

APPLICATIONS RECEIVED IN THE STARCOR CU OFFICE AFTER OCTOBER 15TH WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

MEMBERS OF THE SCREENING COMMITTEE AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS ARE EXCLUDED FROM CONSIDERATION.

A personal statement by the applicant is required on why he/she is requesting this scholarship and the applicant’s educational goals.

Conditions Once Accepted:
Scholarship recipients must provide verification of course completion with at least a “C” grade point average to a post-high school accredited facility before scholarship money is paid. Money will be paid after each quarter or semester is completed. Scholarships expire one year from date of award.

STARCOR CU members must remain a member of good standing during the course curriculum. Scholarships are not renewable. The year is defined as the start of fall semester through the end of summer semester.

Award finalists will be posted on the STARCOR CU web site or notified by mail and may be asked to submit a photo for promotional use and public announcement of the awards.
